Skillet Lasagna Meal in a Jar

Posted on July 15, 2019October 9, 2023 By Oma Wills

1/2 c. Thrive Tomato Powder

3/4 c. Thrive Beef TVP

2 tsp. Italian Seasoning

1/2 c. Thrive Green Bell Peppers

2 1/2 c. Farfalle Pasta or Pasta of Choice

To make jar: Add ingredients to jar in order listed for a pretty jar, add in reverse order if you’d like to pack in a a little more pasta to bulk it up. Recipe makes 1 quart.

To serve: Pour contents of jar into a large frying pan. Add 1/2 cup non-dairy Mozzarella style cheese and 3 1/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes stirring frequently and add a little more water if needed. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.

This vegetarian recipe can be made vegan with the choice of the pasta used. I used a Garden Medley Pasta.

I use a Food Saver with a Jar Sealing attachment to seal the jars.
